Sunlite India photoluminescent pigments can be mixed with any solvent based paints. The mixed paint now becomes glow in dark paint. This can now be used as normal painting paint. The paint area absorbs uv light in the daytime and gets charged. Than the painted area can glow in night for hours giving the glowing effect as painted.

Technical Details

Glow in the dark paint, or photoluminescent paint, is coating that will glow after it has been charged with light. There are many types of glow in the dark paint such as water based acrylic, air dry lacquer, and plastisols which are used in screen printing on fabric. Many people use glow paint for safety and star murals but the applications of these long glowing coatings are endless..

Basic Usage guidelines:

1. Use a white or light color as a background for best results. Any color other than white will diminish effect.
2. Use just enough thinner to produce a smooth consistency for desired usage.

3. You can brush, screen print, roll or spray paint the coatings.

4. The luminous layer should be at least 100-150um.

5. Using varnish or overcoat on the surface of luminous layer can improve its brightness and weather ability.

6. Adjust the viscosity of the luminous paints before usage and stir it until well dispersed.

7. One gallon should cover 350 square feet.
